Welcome to Hemp Horizon – a small, independent studio nestled in the heart of West Sussex, England. Every piece you find here is handcrafted by me, Kay Kay, using carefully selected hemp and organic materials.
Why Hemp?
Hemp is one of the most sustainable fibres on the planet. It grows quickly without pesticides, improves the soil it's grown in, and produces a fabric that gets softer with every wash. At Hemp Horizon, we believe that what you wear should feel good – for you and for the planet.
Coloured by Nature
We're now dyeing our garments using plant-based dyes – a natural, skin-friendly process that brings beautiful, earthy tones to our pieces. Plant dyes are free from harsh synthetic chemicals, making them gentler on your skin and kinder to the environment. Each colour is a little different, a little alive – just like nature itself.
Small-Batch, Made with Intention
We're not a factory. Every item is individually cut, sewn, and quality-checked right here in our Studio. We work in small batches so nothing goes to waste, and many of our pieces are available made-to-order – meaning your garment is created just for you.
This is the opposite of fast fashion. It takes a little longer, but the result is something that lasts – and something you can feel proud to wear.
